Performance Under Pressure!

When the pressure is high, such as in densitometer sampling and similar applications, the high pressure HPGSP range are the perfect pumps.

Original equipment manufacturers worldwide have discovered the benefits of the HPGSP pump when checking the quality of the product passing down a high-pressure pipeline. The pump is used on these densitometer skids to take a sample of the fluid out of the main product pipeline, which can be up to 2m / 80” in diameter, and return it after analysis.

Many of these pipelines and metering stations can be located in remote regions. Therefore, a pump with no mechanical seals or seal support systems, with non-wearing silicon carbide bushes and a duty point that, once the pump is set, does not need adjustment, is great from a service viewpoint. The HPGSP pumps are fully compliant with the requirements of API 685.

The HPGSP pump’s ability to withstand high system pressures, together with its sealless construction, providing enhanced safety in operation, means that the HPGSP eliminates the need for expensive callouts, downtime and repairs associated with mechanical seals, which can be very expensive for this application.

The HPGSP range is a comprehensive family of pumps able to withstand high system pressures up to 185 bar / 2700 psi and flow rates of 290 m3/h / 1500 USgpm, suitable for applications involving volatile products such as crude oil, diesel, jet fuel, condensate, propane, as well as other similar petrochemical products.
